It Should be recalled that the South African rapper, Cassper Nyovest had made some huge claims last month, rating South African’s Hip-hop artistes over their Nigerian counterparts.
According to him, SA’s Hip Hop is still bigger and Better.
He had further said “Nigeria raps are Hard to understand due to the language, most especially Olamide and Phyno”
However, MI who is arguably Nigeria’s Best rapper, replied him in similar fashion during an Exclusive interview with an ExpressNG correspondent on Wednesday, September 2nd.
In a Controlled outburst when quizzed on the matter, He said “Nigerian Hip-Hop Artists are the best in this case cause we can see a lot of elite rappers in Nigeria”
He also pointed out that some of the continent’s best rappers are from Nigeria; People like Eedris, Rugged man, Vector, Ice Prince, Olamide, Nigga Raw, and Phyno.
