Jonathan’s Chief Security Officer Arrested, Embarks On Hunger Strike

Nigeria's Department of State Security a.k.a. “SSS” has arrested and detained  Gordon Obuah, the Chief Security Officer (CSO) to former President Goodluck Jonathan.
A source at the SSS claimed that Mr. Obuah’s detention was as a result of an investigation that implicated him in aiding oil bunkering.
Family sources told Saharareporters that Mr. Gordon Obuah was detained since Thursday 4 days after he was asked to report daily to the headquarters of SSS.
A representative of Mr. Obua’s family told SaharaReporters that since his detention, Mr, Obuah has been kept in solitary confinement denied access to family members, medical care and his lawyers.
According to TheCable, he went on hunger strike since Thursday to protest the conditions of his detention, including a lack of access to lawyers and his family members.
