Buhari has called on Nigerians to work together so as to wrestle the country
from corruption.
Speaking on a Nigerian Television Authority's programme, Good Morning Nigeria, the president said that the level of youth unemployment was so high that he concluded Nigerian was sitting on a keg of gun powder that could explode.

According to him, there
are reliable data that more than 60 per cent of Nigeria’s population are youths
most of whom are unemployed.
He said: "This is
a big keg of gun powder that the nation is sitting on. The economy is virtually
in tatters because of corruption and inefficiency.
"The vicious cycle
of corruption, insecurity and unemployment has to be broken, otherwise, they
will break this country."
