A 19 year-old
student of Government Technical College, Malali, a suburb of Kaduna Metropolis
Mohammed Sani was on Thursday found stabbed to death on his school
hostel bed.
The father of the deceased Alhaji Harisu Sani
said the school’s principal called him around 4:30 am to inform him of his son’s
death.
He said: "based on this, I dashed to the
school thinking my son passed away in his sleep but when I arrived at his
hostel, I saw him in his pool of blood and stabbed on
the right side of his chest with sharp object suspected to be knife.
“What baffled me most was that there are about 200 students in the hostel and I wondered why nobody heard or saw the killers of my son and did not raise alarm.”

Alhaji Sani said “I believe that my son was
killed by somebody within and the school and the state government should tell
me what happened to my son because as a boarding student, he was in their
custody.”
When contacted, Police Public Relation Officer Kaduna Command DSP Zubairu Abubakar said he was in Abuja and promised to speak with the Malali Divisional Police to get details of what happened.
