It was a bittersweet win for Serena Williams at Wimbledon on Monday, as she defeated her big sister Venus, 6-4, 6-3.
Having already won the Australian and French Opens, Williams is now only three matches away from her third Major title of this season.
If Williams can win
Wimbledon and be victorious at the U.S. Open in September, she’ll be the first
woman to complete the Grand Slam since Steffi Graf in 1988. She’d also tie
Graf’s record of 22 Major championships for her career. This means both ladies
would be in second place to Margaret Court’s all-time record of 24 titles.
